Robots similar to humans can make 3D visualization map

LONDON - Researchers develop one of robots that claimed the most advanced in the world. This robot is not only able to walk such as human, but it can also map the area around it, and considering the area that has been abandonment.

Computer vision algorithms are pinned on robots similar to humans (humanoid) named Roboray this, can build 3D visual maps in real-time. Thus, robot developed researchers from the University of this Bristol can move more efficiently.

The ability to build visual maps rapidly this is helped by the camera, which acts as the autonomous robot navigation (robots that can move automatically). With this visual map, the robot can be helped in navigation, when no signal found in global positioning system (GPS) or other navigational reference.

Roboray is one of the most advanced humanoid robot in the world. Reportedly, the robot that is produced by this Samsung has a height 140 centimeters and weighs 50 kilograms. This robot is equipped with a stereo camera on the head and 53 actuator that are different includes six actuators for every foot and 12 for each hand.

This robot has a variety of new technologies and ability to walk in a way that is more similar to a real humans. With these advanced capabilities, the robot can utilize the power of gravity to bring it advanced to stepping forwards without must to expend a lot of energy.

"A humanoid robot has ideal shape to can use the same tools and spaces that are designed for humans. This robot also has the intelligence of a machine designed for human interaction," said Walterio Mayol-Cuevas, Deputy Director of the Bristol Robotics Lab.
