After some time limited to the rumors, Intel finally launches the fourth-generation processor core, that is given code-named Haswell. Shipment of the first stage includes the quad-core chips for laptops and desktops. Haswell chips, which also includes a dual-core chip that will be shipped thereafter, will be used in desktop computers, laptops and tablets. 

Haswell is claimed to make the battery more durable and equipped with high-performance. Intel Haswell states will make the laptop 50% battery more durable, and higher graphics performance up to three times compared with Ivy Bridge processor, which was launched last year.

The launch of Intel Haswell considered important for the intel, which its biggest revenue derived from marketing of PC processor. However current PC market, is down rivaled smartphones and tablets.

Research firm IDC estimates that shipments of PCs down 7.8% in the years 2013. Intel also try to repair the PC market share with the presence of Haswell. Haswel processor, designed for laptops and tablets slim size, with a focus on performance and durability of the battery.

Besides efficient power, significant improvement there is in the graphics sector. For example, his graphic processor will support the display resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels.
